Looking for musicians who have preserved traditional cumbia songs on the river's bank, Simon finds himself navigating the Magdalena through an urgent environmental emergency: what was once one of the country's wildest river is now barely navigable. The film has a unique perspective combining musical discovery with environmental awareness.
