They talked about exile and poetry, about resistance as creation. Gelman also had invited a group of his friends to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his exile in Mexico in January. Unfortunately the poet could not make it to the appointment, that day - according his testament - his close friends and family scattered his ashes in San Miguel Nepantla, the town of Sor Juana, whom he considered the beginning of Latin American poetry.
