Both were robbed from their families as babies to prevent them from growing up with their parents' ideals. Uncovering the past in the trial against their foster parents leads Catalina and Hilario in very different directions. Whereas Catalina presents herself as a co-plaintiff incriminating her "appropriators", Hilario speaks in defense of the "parents of his heart". Directors Jenny Hellmann und Regina Mennig accompanied Hilaro and Catalina for over two years - in lawsuit against their foster parents, in facing their cruel past, in search for a better future. "Algo mio" sheds new light on Argentina's history and reveals unkown facets of a national trauma. Written by
