Ridge and Stephanie reflect on a tumultuous year which they both entered with high hopes, but over the course of it lost their respective partners. Stephanie encourages Ridge to stop Eric and Brooke's wedding. While sitting in the garden she planted for him, Ridge remembers Caroline's wish for him to be with Brooke after her passing.
