A journey to Bolivia, a country directly hit by the impact of climate change, leads the German film crew to a personal encounter with farmer Lorenzo. The film sidesteps the actual impact climate change has on his livelihood and fields and concentrates on how the westernized, urban perception of climate change differs from the one of the farmers in rural Bolivia. A collage of live-action film and animation, the film shows various perceptions of the same reality and discusses problematic commonalities and differences between scientific findings and perceived every-day life.
