But during his entire life outside his homeland he feels enormous bitterness and guilt because of his relatives, who have stayed in Bulgaria. An emotional film featuring the incredible appeal of Stefane Groueff and a lot of unique footages from French, Swiss, American and Bulgarian archives of the period.
