The town also had an almost complete network of logistics and so onto feed and supply the tomb builders and provide various services, almost a complete city, with its own police and administration, medicine and daily cult. Their lives, somewhat privileged, are exceptionally well end extensively documented, not in the least by pottery fragments used to write daily messages and private records.
