Jennifer tries to band Eve from going to the showcase but Eve points out that Paige would be the one hurt if she doesn't show. Theresa is going after JJ when Paige shows up and tells her to leave. Paige isn't happy to learn that JJ is also performing at the showcase and decides to drop out of the performance. Theresa returns home and finds that Clint is back in town. Theresa questions Clint about Dr. Mandrake but he distracts her by kissing her. Melanie and Brady spend Melanie's lunch break in bed making Melanie late for work. Kate and Chad are both surprised when Stefano appears at the board meeting. Stefano lays out a new proposal for a leadership change at DiMera and Kate uses this as her opportunity to tell the board she bought a new company (from Victor's information). Kate is confused when the members of the board are horrified at her purchase. Stefano then tells Kate that the company she bought was board member Mr. Shin's company that she just made a hostile take over. Kate realizes that Stefano set her up. Hope brings Ciara by to see Victor. Maggie informs Hope that Victor has been feeling down ever since Sonny was stabbed. Hope gets a call from Abe that Stefano has returned to Salem but the warrant for his arrest of tax evasion charges has been stalled. Maggie realizes that Victor is up to something.
