Horned- lizards are iconic animals that are beloved across the southwest, but habitat loss and climate change are erasing this critical creature from the landscape. Peter visits a nursery where baby lizards are raised and released. Later, Dr. Rae teams up with a specially trained dog that can sniff out horned lizards to help conservationists keep track of their progress in the wild. Peter then travels to Florida for a reptile recovery and release of the remarkable Eastern Indigo snake, one of the largest snakes in North America. See less
