His girlfriend on the phone wants him to pick up her new shoes and Masa is determined not to disappoint her. Fresh from his own metal gig, Masa presses the gas pedal a bit too hard and fails to notice a black cat crossing the road. The crash is unavoidable. He drags the deceased cat into a nearby yard but a sharp-eyed elderly lady catches him in the act. Frightened by Masa's corpse paint adorning his face, she falls, hits her head and dies instantly. Suddenly, Masa is responsible for two deaths. Instead of facing the consequences of his actions, desperate Masa tries to stage the scene to look like a violent scuffle between the cat and the lady, but the result is far from convincing. Panicked, he flees the scene, only to be stopped at a police roadblock. Exhausted by the weight of his lies, Masa manages to survive the interrogation, but it doesn't feel like a victory. See less
