With every new project I always want to push the boundaries further of someone who doesn't quite fit into the mold of modern day societal norms. In Rom Coms Must Die we meet two filmmakers filled with disillusionment from the state of the filmmaking industry. We follow them on their twisted journey to find their own creative voices in a world that shuns big dreamers. My journey as a filmmaker in the real world very much mirrors the characters journey in our movie world with their attempt to create something unique and special that stands out in the modern sea of reiterated content. As my first feature length film project, I was happy to join a group of big dreamers who didn't want to settle with playing it safe and instead craft a story filled with plenty of dark humor, original thinking and larger than life characters."
