But...See moreYochai (single and working a part time job) spends his days avoiding living life. He keeps himself busy by doing the basic chores of life, but mostly by all the distractions possible: Facebook, WhatsApp, Tinder, YouTube, Porn and more. But tonight he is required for another chore. Sivan, his older sister, goes to work and he has to take care of her son, Elai (8 years old). Ilai will sleep with Yochai and all Yochai needs to do is to get up in the morning and bring Ilai to the bus at 07:30. Ilai is going on an annual trip. In the morning Yochai doesn't get up. Ilai misses the trip and Yochai tries to calm him down and assures him that he will take him on a different trip instead. But instead of a trip, Yochai takes Ilai along with him for his daily chores, including a meeting with his psychologist, to whom he is already late. The meeting ends in failure and at this stage, Ilai already understands that there will be no trip. Angry and frustrated, he runs away and is almost hit by a passing vehicle. Yochai erupts hysterically, Ilai panics and Yohai panics back. From himself, from Ilai and all this day. In the meantime, the day has passed and there is nothing left but to wait together in a playground for Sivan, Ilai's mother, to come and take him. In the playground, Ilai initiates a hide-and-seek game and Yochai can't find him. Distressed, he calls out to Ilai and asks for his forgiveness. Sivan arrives and before Yochai manages to explain himself, Ilai shows up. When Sivan asks Ilai how was the trip, Ilai answers laconically that it was fun and keeps Yohai's failure to himself.
