What they don't know is that Ronnie's old kendama, a toy he once cherished, has begun to consume him. Each time he plays, he slips deeper under the control of an unseen force that thrives on violence, demanding blood to strengthen its hold. As Ronnie tries to hide his descent, the kendama's influence grows, manifesting in compulsions he cannot resist and faint whispers only he can hear. His friends Chris, Liz, and Bella reach out, but every attempt to help is met with his distance-or worse, bursts of unsettling aggression. When Bella becomes his only anchor to humanity, she learns too late that the toy is no game, but a prison for something demonic that now sees Ronnie as its rightful vessel. With Ronnie's humanity unraveling and the body count rising, his friends must face the terrifying truth: to save him, they may have to destroy both the boy they love and the cursed kendama that controls him.
