Every time she leaves the house, Aleksandra risks her life to fulfill basic needs. Not because she lost her sight, but because people with disabilities face an environment full of obstacles and barriers. "My disability is less in Sweden than in Belgrade," says Ljupka, who tests the limits set by the city every day in her wheelchair. Rights to accessibility and universal design exist in laws and regulations - but the reality is different. When schools, hospitals and transport are not accessible, the chain of movement breaks, and life is reduced to risk avoidance, giving up and fears. The problem is not money. The problem is in the political decision that is missing.
