Jeff is prolific in the Australian jazz music scene with recording and performance credits over a 30 year period. He has played locally, nationally and internationally to critical acclaim. The documentary illustrates his personal and professional achievements with intimate interviews with him and many jazz alumni. Originally shot on super16 mm film by a local DOP , the prints were recently re-scanned to HD. This supplements the current digital shooting format. Jeff has a long term and unique interest in railway infrastructure, so much that he has collected over 100 hours of stereo tape recordings, often venturing out alone into the country where the serenity is only broken by the distant steam whistles of the engine.
