When everyone ...See moreThe story begins with ninety-year-old Evgenija, the owner of Hotel Paris in the center of Belgrade, and the tycoon Vuk, who is determined to get his hands on the hotel. He offers Evgenija ten million euros to acquire it. When everyone learns that Evgenija has decided to sell the hotel to the tycoon, Vuk believes he has succeeded in fulfilling his ambition. This decision is followed by an intriguing and tragic event: two women who had never met are poisoned on the same day, with the same poison. One of them is Evgenija Prangasevic, the owner of the iconic pre-war Hotel Paris, a place where time seems to have stood still. The other victim is the secretary of the unscrupulous tycoon Vuk Vavan, a man willing to do anything to seize the hotel in the city center, demolish it, and build the largest shopping mall in the Balkans. Immediately after Evgenija's funeral, the real drama begins. Who is behind these murders? Who will inherit the hotel and all of Evgenija's wealth? Will justice, love, and honor manage to defeat money and power? The series portrays a clash of two worlds - the poor and the rich - and the eternal conflict between honesty and greed. See less
