Jason believes he is a serious businessman stuck in retail and is determined to come across as successful, important and in control on camera. Jason works alongside Danny, a sarcastic and disengaged co worker who treats the job as a joke, and Jonathon, a well spoken and image focused staff member keen to appear mature and impressive. Cameraman Cameron follows the group throughout the shift, quietly capturing the contrast between how the men see themselves and how they actually behave. As filming continues, what begins as a routine workday turns into a series of small schemes, pranks and exaggerated stories. Jason boasts about contacts and past success, bending the truth whenever it suits him, while Danny and Jonathon undermine him through banter, careless mistakes and their own need for attention. Interviews with the crew reveal growing frustration, boredom and rivalry beneath the surface. As tensions build, the mood shifts and the situation begins to feel unstable. Minor cons and inflated egos give way to something more serious, and the documentary captures a sudden and shocking act of violence that brings the day to an abrupt end.
