But the moment he enters the office and meets the interviewer, Ronit, a smooth-talking yet unsettling personality, the process begins to feel less like an interview and more like a psychological test. Ronit's questions drift into Akash's marriage, his personal habits, even his private insecurities. Akash tries to stay composed, believing this might be some unconventional corporate method. But the unease deepens when Ronit insists they continue the "assessment" over a formal dinner-and demands that Akash bring his wife, Sanjana. At the dinner, the atmosphere shifts sharply. Ronit's charm feels performative, his interest in Sanjana too intense, his gestures too familiar. He compliments her more than necessary, watches her reactions closely, and pushes conversations into uncomfortable territory.
