Some behind-the-scenes documentary footage was filmed in the middle of the Alcochete shooting range, which delve into the reality of the trenches. Collected under the title 'A Vida nas Trincheiras' (Life in the Trenches), there are ten mini-documentaries made by Cláudia Alves with the historian Isabel Pestana Marques. The episodes will be shown daily on RTP3, from 5 to 16 November (2018), to mark the commemoration of the end of the First World War. The episodes focus on portraits of everyday life, as diverse as meals, letters, suicide, clothes, women, among others, using documents and photographs from the period (IWW), from archives such as the Military Historical Archive and the Portuguese Newspaper Library (Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa).
