The new president, Donald Trump, blames Latin American cartels. However, it all began legally in the United States thirty years ago. The Sackler family, who ran Purdue Pharma, launched Oxycontin, a powerful opioid. They sent hundreds of sales reps to doctors in the most vulnerable areas. We meet Dr. Lou Ortenzio.
