She is responsible for the Spandau Citadel, one of Berlin's oldest buildings and a significant High Renaissance fortress in Europe. Gross-Zeder's offices were searched; she, of all people, is accused of abuse of office. What exactly lies behind the accusations is unclear; an anonymous tip alerted the public prosecutor's office. Romy wonders whether irregularities in her frequent business trips or in the extensive restoration of the fortress walls could be the cause. Gross-Zeder's closest team, the diligent cultural historian Daniel Rebel and her ambitious assistant Silke Struchholz, with whom she is also romantically involved, feign ignorance. When Gross-Zeder is temporarily suspended, Romy wonders: Is this a personal matter, or is one of the employees after the boss's job? A declared enemy of Gross-Zeder is Urs Tetzeli, who waits at the citadel gate with historical torture devices for visitors. The self-proclaimed medieval expert is plotting revenge because his funding has been cut. Karin knew perfectly well that Romy had a half-sister. But Romy's parents thought it better to keep this fact from her. Romy is furious and can barely contain her disappointment at her mother's behavior. Ringo invites Odette and Tilly to his and Tilly's house. Tilly is ordered to cook for three. Ringo is extremely nervous, but Odette charms them both with her easygoing manner.
