He did the doctorate at the University of Uppsala with the thesis "Syntactische und Lexikalische Study Zur History Lausiaca des Palladios", and became associate professor in the Greek language and literature. Linnér was also active in the Swedish Red Cross, Chairperson in Electrolux Italy, and later director of the Swedish Employers' Association. He served as diplomat in Kongo with Dag Hammarskjöld and worked to restore Alexandria's library. He was truly a man without boundaries. Written by SVT See less
