Alongside her is Jess, her sarcastic and grounded best friend, who playfully challenges Ava's claims of emotional growth. As the two banter over drinks, Ava reveals she's ready to move on and become a more "mature" adult-perhaps by joining a pottery class. Jess, ever the realist, teases her about it, sparking laughs and a humorous "Ghost" movie reference that cements the heart of their friendship.
