Stabbed, as Dr. Hartmann determines. Judith Delius and Manu Högl, the center's founders, are distraught but cannot help Jerry and Sophia with their investigation. But the two women seem tense because they risked so much for the retreat. Could this be the new managing director's downfall? Perhaps Elli, Beissl's wife, can help? Because, of all people, her former assistant at the tourist office, Daniel Kovac, has become one of the prime suspects. This doesn't leave Elli alone and she begins to investigate on her own. But she has a completely different problem as well. Her sister Moni, Ava's mother, unexpectedly appears in the Beissls' doorway. Except for Elli, no one is happy about this visit. Moni has brought unopened mail for Ava. Ava sees no other option than to confide in the pub the dark secret that drove her to Berchtesgaden. Meanwhile, Franzi has hacked into the murder victim's laptop, and a chip discovered by Jerry leads to a new lead.
