Unfortunately they hired a "friend" of the family to build it. He said it could be done for their $600,000 budget, but after 2 years of building and an extra quarter of a million dollars, their home isn't done and their contractor is long gone. Mark is forced to go back to work teaching fighter pilots on the other side of the world, while Carol faces her own battles at home.
