She had a romantic relationship with director Lv Sha, but Lv Sha was married and had a son named Xuecheng, which put a lot of pressure on their relationship. Meimei was pregnant with Lv Sha's child, but decided to give up on her career development because she didn't want to give up on this child. She left Shanghai with Lv Sha and started a new life together. They gave birth to their daughter Haiyan and wholeheartedly took care of her, while Lv Sha was unable to find a job and her life became difficult, ultimately leading to a momentary impulse to break up. This sudden decision made Meimei feel heartbroken and regretful. She received a promise from her old friend to help her return to Shanghai for development, so she left Lv Sha with her daughter and returned the golden heart that Lv Sha gave her that day. However, Lv Sha was greatly affected and attempted to repair the relationship with his wife, but was rejected. In the end, he chose suicide due to the loss of her lover. See less
