My brother passed away from this disease. I survived. For over 30 years, this tragic event was a taboo in my family: never discussed, barely acknowledged. This film focuses on my father, who over the years chose denial, black humor and cynicism, as his way to deal with the death of his young son and to move on with his life. On a shared journey back to the grave on his 70th birthday, deep emotions are unearthed from beneath a cover of cynicism and denial, and the grief and loving memory of a son and brother emerges.
