Its primary goal is to explore and explain the fascination this genre has on the cultural psyche. From its roots in morality tales in the form of scary stories told around a campfire passed down through generations, through the advent of literary novels, to the emergence of celluloid, and even modern urban legends, the horror genre has forever titillated the minds and emotions of human beings across all cultures and continents. For some reason, people LOVE to be scared. We find this a fascinating study in finding a single unifying thread that cuts across all aspects of the human experience that we all commonly respond to on a visceral level. We, at Let's Talk Horror, want to continue this conversation into our modern technological era in an informative and entertaining way that can engage everyone. ...and we want to have fun doing it.
