In an interview with Anne-Marie Dussault on "24/60", Mr. Paillé explained that his illness could be contained and did not prevent him from working. "Epilepsy is an illness that can be controlled, in my case. And you can live with it," he explained. Nevertheless, his condition doesn't allow him to take on the role of party leader, as the workload is too heavy, and the stress level is high. "It's anything but being a party leader," says the 63-year-old. He said he would stay away from politics, but also from the media, as he no longer plans to give interviews for the time being.
