The film follows her quiet but dramatic journey through a suburban landscape of trick-or-treating where she discovers what matters most to her. The film seeks to deal with contemporary ideas and ideals about what "home" should look like. The cookie-cutter image of a house and fenced yard still lingers; however, most families diverge from this stereotype.
