Elisabeth, Nhung and Ole are once again really craving a pizza - but this time they want to do it quickly. The trio put three frozen pizzas in the oven and suddenly their investigative spirit is awakened: What's in a pizza? Where do the ingredients come from and how is it made? Without hesitating for long, the trio split up and set off on an exciting search for clues. Nhung's investigations lead her to a greenhouse among lots of tomatoes, and on her next lead she also meets a real pizza maker. Ole visits a wheat mill and Elisabeth visits a cheese factory. In the laboratory they meet their informant, the food chemist Viktoria Ganß, who conducts exciting experiments on the freezing process and the enormous salt content of frozen pizzas.
