He had his lawyer explain in court: "I shot." As you can see in this video, he had already admitted this in his first confession in June 2019, but later retracted it. In front of an investigating judge, he then presented the act as an accident at the beginning of 2020 and accused the co-accused Markus Hartmann of having held the gun in his hand.
