Rose visits the flat with Xander but tells him she's planning to leave town. After a talk with Cash where he tells her he wants to move on, she agrees to take the flat. Tex helps John and Nikau with a surfer who knocked himself out. Nikau cuts his foot retrieving the man's board. Marilyn is unhappy that Tex didn't do all the jobs she assigned him. He goes out for a drink with Rose. Nikau turns out to have stepped on a sea urchin and John takes him to hospital, where Naomi turns out to be an agency nurse.
