Her parents met in grade six and fell in love twenty years later. They are full of hope with the prospect of having a child together. But their hope to conceive dwindles and despair hits when Katherine is diagnosed with an infertility syndrome. The doctor recommends a harsh fertility drug that could put Katherine's health at risk. Determined to conceive naturally, Katherine tries a curious, yet non-invasive treatment which uses the power of the moonlight to encourage her body to ovulate. Coupled with a three month diet cleanse prescribed by a natural-path doctor, pregnancy is finally achieved and confirmed with an ultrasound. The story concludes with the birth of the baby.
