In the winter of 2010, The Peninsula Studios reached out and recorded 722 musicians from small villages and towns from Rajasthan. A jury of 32 well known musicians evaluated over 3600 minutes of field recordings. This program was led by Subroto Chattopadhyay, Sita Raina, Avinash Chordia, Ananya Rane, Narinder Tawakley Co founders of TPS supported by Aishwarya Natarajan, Varun Narain and Sakhi Saraf. This presentation is curated and produced by Sita Raina, Subroto Chattopadhyay and the team of The Peninsula Studios as our tribute to the great poets, saints and singers of Rajasthan.
