But Malik Bey wrote a farewell letter to his daughters and left. Gülfem finds him about to commit suicide at his mother's grave and saves him. She has to stay in the mansion until his father recovers and distracts Ali Gelik. Although this situation does not please Davut, he has to accept it for Gülfem. However, he also hides from Gülfem that he is working for the government. He sneaks into Ali's house at night, chasing guns, and finds a chest of rifles. Malik Bey decides to bring his mother to Bolu to save his daughter and himself from Ali's bullying.
