In recognition of this research, she was awarded the 2020 Royal Air Force Museum Doctoral Academic Prize in 2021. Victoria's specialisation is in the history of airpower, aviation and public imagination - particularly with regards to technological innovation and the ethical questions provoked by aerial warfare's rapid development during the twentieth century. She is Assistant Editor of the online scholarly airpower platform 'From Balloons to Drones'. Her main focus is on British and German aviation during the interwar period and the Second World War.
