With assistance of Darla's petty cash, C.J. and the boys drive over to the Beverly Gardens Hotel. Michael confronts Clarke for keeping it from her that he is head designer at Spectra Fashions. Clarke puts Grant's accusations into perspective and admits that he could have handled the situation with his sister better. He also proudly tells her about his son. Unfortunately, C.J. overhears that part of Clarke's story in which he describes his initial reaction to fatherhood and misses out on the current position.
