He was loved by everyone, people adored him. The entire college respected him. But on his 48th birthday, he collapsed and died just 5 minutes after eating his birthday cake at his birthday party. Malini explains to Adi that Prof Debraj was accused of sexually exploiting a student, Seema, 10 years back. The same student had committed suicide and her family had charged him for that. But Prof Debraj didn't get any charges pressed on him as the management couldn't afford the college's name to be tarnished. The catch, in this case, is that there are no suspects, but 4 witnesses that were present at the time of Debraj Mukherjee's death who loved him. See less
