In the quest for any advantage both sides seek The Eternals, nine of whom are known as The Ennead. The Eternals have helped shape the destiny of the world from the beginning of time but, centuries ago, they vanished. Five individuals wake in the woods with odd items in their pockets and unsure of who, where or when they are. As their memories slowly begin to return they begins to suspect that everything is not quite what it seems and that they might not be strangers to each other after all.
