The father, an experienced cattle herder will take us on a journey, far from home and family, in to the mountain range. Alongside a dozen riders and their horses, dogs and three hundred head of cattle. Meanwhile, at home, his eldest son prepares for his own journey, to the capital, Santiago, in order to study and work, with the goal of settling down and leaving behind life in the countryside. This is a look at a family united by the love and knowledge of their territory and their lifestyle. Their movements will reveal the dazzling beauty and the dangers of the mountain range as well as the harshness and the tranquility of life in the countryside.
