Satchel hails from the cow-less fields of suburban Iowa and still retains that small town charm. After majoring in Theatre Arts and Creative Writing from Coe College, Satchel followed his dreams New York City. By a chance connection he found himself interning at Telsey + Company, and quickly realized casting and working with actors was his passion. Since his start Satchel has worked with legendary Casting Director, Ellen Lewis, Allison Estrin and Henry Russell Bergstein of Estrin/Bergstein Casting, Cody Beke and Seth White of Beke/White Casting to name a few. In 2019 Satchel moved to Los Angeles and again quickly landed on his feet, this time re-teaming with Telsey in their West Coast office. Today he shares his views on the future of virtual casting; and what he's learned in the room working with some of the most prestigious offices in NY and LA. See less
