The Latourell Falls give one an idea of the grandeur of the many waterfalls that drop from the high cliffs along the Columbia. Other falls are the Multnomah, which drop over 500ft at the side of the highway, and the Oneonta Gorge. Many wild animals are sill abundant in the Oregon woods, chief among them the deer and the black bear. The golden mantled squirrel is another inhabitant;.
