In an instant of deviation, they kiss each other with passion. Eden goes to the beach house and removes the engagement ring in a tall glass. Cruz arrives and Eden confirms that she is going to marry Kirk. She maintains that their connection broke between them and that she is in love with Kirk. Cruz tells her about Sophia's disappearance. Eden finds Kelly and Ted in the Capwell residence. She confirms to them about her marriage with Kirk. Nick wants to push back a business trip in San Francisco as long as Sophia is missing. But Kelly decides to leave. She mobilises the Capwell jet and requests Dylan to act for them as a pilot. But at the last minute, Nick can't leave with them anymore. Kirk offers Eden to get married today - even. He shows her the dress which he took the initiative of buying it for her. He asks her to carry the ring which he gave her and drives her to the judge's. Cruz finds the engagement ring in the glass. He learns from Kirk's neighbour that Eden and Kirk left to find a justice of the peace. By car, he tears along across the desert to prevent the marriage.
