She cares for vultures and also fosters a rather shy and rare animal: a pangolin. Volunteer Dagmar is allowed to cuddle the pangolin. On Harnas Island, volunteer Sunna has to deal with a jealous vervet monkey. The injured monkey is being treated by Dr. Rietschel and doesn't tolerate the presence of his assistant Sunna. Releasing the two warthogs, Ham and Bacon, into the wild isn't easy. The two have grown so large and heavy that the volunteers have to work extremely hard to get them to the lifeline.
