There is one show he has seen several times, because of one dancer whose beauty and prowess he admires. His fear of speaking to her turns into a nightmare, in which she rejects his attempts. This nightmare in the end catalyzes his action - to go and talk to the dancer. When John is being carried down the theater staircase, his wheelchair becomes visible. Jhon, in fact, can't walk or dance. When he sees that Sarah, the dancer, is leaving the dressing room, he follows her to say hello for the first time. She smiles back, and this simple gesture empowers John to start a conversation.
