His main goal is to place military veterans and their families with a partner that will provide therapy. The program helps both rescued animals and veterans by bringing them together for their own good. La Russa thought that the organization would be something good, but it ended up becoming something great. He encourages others to do what the program is doing and help veterans and animals in need. Along with his program, La Russa works with the Red Sox as the Vice President of Baseball Operations. See less
