He can't help but visit a still unconscious Alan and rub in the good news. Alan-Michael continues to pretend he is paralyzed and while waiting outside his father's hospital room, hears Frank confess to a nurse that Alan had the shooting coming to him. Coop is still upset about Ava's relationship with Alan-Michael and can hardly stand to see his father and Olivia happy. Coop admits to Olivia that she and his father make a cute couple. Olivia tells Coop that all she wants is to make Buzz happy. Alan-Michael continues to try and take care of Alan. His subconscious conjures up an image of Alan speaking to him, after their conversation hits a nerve, Alan-Michael realizes he was talking to himself! Buzz drags Coop down to the police station so Marina and Frank could have a talk to Coop about what it means to fight for the person you love. Buzz sets Coop up on a blind date with a woman named Jessica. Jessica is a specialist in spinal cord injuries and Coop questions her about Alan-Michael's condition. After witnessing Alan-Michael scratch his leg, Coop realizes that Alan-Michael is faking his injury and tries to force Alan-Michael to stand! Of course this happens on the balcony at Towers and it looks as if Alan-Michael may fall. He holds out long enough for Ava to see them and come to his aid. Frank gives his little brother a stern talk about his actions. Later, Coop tells Ava that he can not live with the person he is becoming and says his final goodbye's to her. Ava is torn between Coop and Alan-Michael. Beth visits Alan-Michael in the hospital and hits his legs with a serving tray, to which he screams in pain! Beth has exposed Alan-Michael's deception. Beth wants them to work together against Doris. At first Alan-Michael refuses but Beth tells him that if they don't work together, she will tell the entire town about his lying and he will become a suspect in Alan's shooting just like everyone else. She even admits to not really being pregnant with Alan's child. Alan-Michael has no choice but to help Beth if he wants to hold on to everything he has, including Ava! Written by GL Fan See less
