Everything is serene and lovely until - well, a city chap, who rides around in luxurious limousines and calling himself Alexander Airedale, thinks it is high time to practice his wiles upon little Nell. Father Collie is away at business taking care of sheep. Little does he dream that his wife would leave him and their newborn children. So when he arrives home, neighbors tell him that Nell has run away with an aristocrat from the city. A popular chap is papa Collie and he has no trouble in forming a posse to hunt the eloping couple and punish the despoiler. Dogs, dogs, all kinds of dogs take up the chase, and with Mr. Bloodhound leading the way the sinners are discovered hiding in a barn. Alec is given his just deserts and Nell pleads for and wins her husband's forgiveness. Written by Motion Picture News, October 4, 1919 See less
