Living with him is his adopted daughter, Isabel, who distrusts Rita. Don Abelardo also has another son, Emilio, from a relationship with the housekeeper, Soledad Martínez. Don Abelardo wants to leave his inheritance to Emilio, who is dating Isabel, but Rita, knowing that being excluded from the will would mean losing all rights to the money and businesses, plots her father-in-law's murder. She surrounds herself with four accomplices: Jacqueline, Marcial, Raúl, and Germán, and they hold a "drawing" to choose who will carry out the nefarious task, keeping the person's identity a secret. Everything unfolds as Rita planned, and her next step is to frame Emilio for his father's death so that she has free rein to manage the fortune and businesses as she pleases. See less
